Family-owned since 1988 — scratch-made food, genuine hospitality, and a bar built for connection. No pretense, no special occasion required.
About Us
CINCINNATI'S WEST SIDE
Our Promise
Nick & Tom's is your westside table — for the everyday and the milestone, the weeknight dinner and the birthday celebration, the quick drink that turns into one more round. This is where the neighborhood still gathers.
What Sets Us Apart
A BAR WITHIN A BAR
Our island bar is open, social, lively — a distinct space with its own personality and its own reason to visit, separate from the dining room.
SCRATCH MADE
From our soups and chilis to our dressings and recipes, the majority of what we make starts in our kitchen from scratch — and you can taste it.
WESTSIDE HISTORY
This corner of the westside has meant something to people since the early 1900s. We're honored to be the current chapter of that story.
FAMILY, AT OUR CORE
Since 1988, this place has been family-owned and operated — built on showing up for each other and having a genuinely great time doing it.
A WEST SIDE TRADITION
1900s
OUR ROOTS
AN INN ON THIS CORNER
This stretch of the westside has welcomed neighbors since the early 1900s, when the building first served as an inn.
1988
A NEW NAME
NICK & TOM'S ALPINE INN
Tom, Gregg, and Tim Lambrinides open Nick & Tom's Alpine Inn — a restaurant and bar, not a reception hall.
1993
FINDING OUR IDENTITY
NICK & TOM'S RESTAURANT & BAR
Five years in, we shorten the name to further distinguish ourselves — and double down on quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
Today
STILL FAMILY
YOUR WESTSIDE TABLE
Scratch-made soup, chilis, and dressings. Steaks, pasta, and a reputation built one plate at a time.

MORE THAN AN OWNER
AT OUR CORE, WE'RE A FAMILY.
Since 1988 this place has been family-owned and operated — built on showing up for each other, working hard together, lifting one another up, and having a genuinely great time doing it.
That's the heartbeat of Nick & Tom's, and the moment you sit down at our bar or slide into a booth, you're going to feel it.
"We're just honored to be the current chapter of this corner's story."
— TOM, GREGG & TIM LAMBRINIDES
